Very clean, attentive staff, good value food. Made a pitstop here as is on the main road we were on. Great views with a large garden. Nice to be in a non chain pub.

Worth the drive out from Winchester for this nice little pub - would be wonderful on a summer's day but pretty good in early March. Good choice of starters and mains - I was able to have the duck starter as a main with no...hesitation and it was super.More

We love this pub. There is a great choice of food on the menu and we have enjoyed all the food they have served us. The staff are very friendly and the service is good. There is a lovely cosy feeling to this pub. A...large car park and pleasant outside garden.More

Have visited several times and never disappointed This time we had the pie with chips and vegetables. No starter, as despite having a very healthy appetite I can’t often manage more than one course here as the portions are very generous. The pie was packed...full of delicious tender steak with plenty of kidney, really tasty gravy, and good pastry. It was HUGE! The only very minor complaint is that extra gravy had been poured over the pie making it rather soft in parts. Would have been better to serve the gravy separately or keep it to one side of the plate No desert - too full. Just coffee Wine choices were good and at very reasonable prices A brilliant pub lunchMore

Lovely lunch here at the Hinton Arms. Huge menu, so many choices to suit everyone. Staff were friendly & lovely atmosphere. Very classic country pub vibes. The only thing to let it down slightly was our food took quite a while to come out, but...it was a busy day when we visited! Would highly recommend!More

Really nice food and friendly atmosphere. Child friendly and a good variety of menu items. The bacon and Brie baguette was particularly tasty!

I had high hopes for this pub as the reviews were all good. However, and disappointingly so, the food was over cooked and tough. The king scallops albeit tasty were far from king scallops. We opted for the fillet of lamb and duck from the...Christmas menu and the meat was just ruined. The liver and bacon had far too much mustard in the mash and was surrounded by gravy which was nice but just too much of it. No coffee was available as it was decided that it was a good time to descale the machine so, no after dinner coffee either. However, I cannot fault the service - staff were excellent and very attentive and polite. Would I go again? Sadly, probably not.More
