I’m not sure why but expectations weren’t high when visiting The Ship. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Superb roasts - beef, pork and chicken. Yummy puds. Excellent service. Good value.

A warm welcome, excellent food quality and really good, friendly service. Their normal menu has good food but their specials board always includes something more exotic. Wonderful place to stop for lunch!

Well prepared and tasty dishes from a not too extensive menu choice. The food was served quickly and was very well presented. The choice of beers was adequate but we sadly didn't have room for any desert. Next time maybe? It is clear that this...More
