Over the past year I visit the Wine bar in Kensington several times. Last weeks visit we had very attentive service. Kellie our server was very knowledgeable about her wines and guided me in the right direction of choosing the right wine for me.

As the four of us walked to the patio which was perfect on a summer night in Calgary, it was all down hill from there... the server seemed annoyed he had to serve us, but did a half attempt to try to be polite. We...More

Enjoyed small plates and wine at this small and somewhat quirky below street level restaurant. International and Canadian wines, beers and whiskey's represented. The Medjool Dates are the best stuffed dates I have ever tasted. Will definitely go back on my next trip to Calgary.

The pavement seating area tempted us to stop for a drink on a warm afternoon, but a sudden thunderstorm soon caused a retreat to the downstairs bar and dining area. Good informal feel and cheerful service from a menu that offers plenty of choice of...More

Wasn't too impressed with this place. Order the Charcuterie board for 5-$40 wasn't enough for 3 ppl. Server could have been in a better mood and a smile would have been nice. Wine prices are crazy! Not going there again.

We dropped in for a quick glass of wine before a movie and quickly learned about the high prices for wines in Alberta. it's the taxes, not the fault of the establishment. The menu offerings were interesting. Jars of preserves line the bar. The staff...More

We went to the wine bar in Kensington with a friend who is a local. The service was exemplary & the wine list was deep. We chose three different reds and we were all pleased with our choices. As for food, I never realized edamame...More

I love Wine Bar. The staff is great, and so are the wine and food. The ventilation inside isn't great, but the patio in the summer is fantastic.

Enjoyed some bubbles, wine and food before heading to the Jubilee for a show. The menu is perfect for sharing with all the food going well with wine. The food was good but not amazing - would give the experience a 3.5* if it was...More
