This is my go to place in Calgary. The atmosphere is cozy and the waiters are pros. I am reminded of Paris, without any pretense. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My favourite is the cassoulet.

My friend and I had à delicious meal. We enjoyed the pâté and both our main entrées were generous in portion. The lamb was cooked just right. Thé owner, so friendly and colorful shared good advice and stories. We had a sweet crèpe suzette to finish off this beautiful soirée. Being the long week-end it was quiet but still full... More

The restaurant is a neighbourhood standby and is authentically french with classic french cuisine and a very nice wine selection. Make reservations and ask for a window seat.

We decided to try this place after hearing good things from a coworker. We made a reservation and were glad we did - it's a very tiny location with limited seating. Very quaint and comfortable. It was very busy and I think the server was a bit overrun. He was running around like crazy, but definitely did a great job... More

Had the rib eye and it was superb. The creme brûlée was beyond tasty and large enough to share. The restaurant is also very warm and inviting. It isn't cheap but hey, nits French food. I thought this was an excellent French restaurant all around.

Loved the ambiance of this restaurant. We sat up at the bar. Very experienced career servers. Truly felt like I was in a bistro in Paris. If only I knew where the bread came from.. best bread i've eaten this side of France. Steak au Poivre to die for! If only i hadnt gone so hard on the bread would... More

Fleur de Sel is a charming small French bistro on 4th Street. It is warm and welcoming and serves delicious food. I am never disappointed. Dale is a wonderful host and Patrice and the rest of the staff are great chefs. They really know how to cook fish. The halibut melts in your mouth. I love the spinach salad and... More

We went for dinner with our friends, two couples on a Saturday night. Service was impeccable, the food - fantastic, and the atmosphere was great for us to have a conversation - not too loud, very cozy. We sampled their soup of the day which was tomato with gin, the french onion soup, the fois gras, and a special ceviche... More
