My husband and I were craving the kind of onion rings and milkshakes you would see in movies from the 1950's. I woke up in the middle of the night and thought I would do a little online search for the best onion rings in Calgary. I stumbled on to Rocky's Burger Bus permanently parked in the lot by the... Like the location - very friendly people - first time to taste a Poutine : I liked this one - crunchy fries / tasty gravy / stringy cheese.

Rocky's Bus Burgers are different. It's often simple economics - fat is cheaper than beef - so most burger joints have fatty meat patties that result in a greasy burger experience. Because this is so normal, some folks don't like a 'dry' burger and they don't realize that the flavour they are craving if melted fat. However, if you really... More

Always great service, super friendly family. The burgers are so big! Fresh beef, fresh cut fries, and kick-butt Onion Rings. Make sure you add a fired egg to your burger, deelish!

This old city bus and its crave able edibles are fast food fantastic. The burgers are thick and juicy and taste like . . . meat! Not just a bunch of topping. I enjoyed a double burger and it was more then I could comfortably eat (and the fries at pretty good too)

Been in Calgary for many years, but finally tried out Rocky's at the Crossroads Market. Huge juicy hand formed patty. For me, the burger is about the meat, so the simplicity of the rest of the burger was fine. The fresh cut fries were awesome.

We'd read numerous reviews about Rocky's over the years and finally got around to visiting. Hey, the idea of a burger joint in a bus sounds like it has potential to be awesome. Unfortunately, Rocky's is not awesome. It's fine, but there are plenty of other places I've had a better burger. You do get a huge amount of food.... More

You cannot beat a burger from an old transit bus backed into a hillside. I go to Rocky's minimum once per month, this is an excellent burger in my opinion and my main go to burger place in Calgary. It is no frills, hand formed (crucial) Alberta beef. If you are expecting a wet saucy burger (the "other famous Calgary... More
