We went as a family as our son had informed us we had to see this place. We went in the evening and the place was busy but we were able to get a good seat. Lots of the university crowd which makes things interesting. Our Waitress was awesome and very helpful with selecting beer from the 6 pages (over... More

By far my favourite restraint in edmonton, great atmosphere. Some of the best food and by far the best beer list.

Met a friend for breakfast and we shared the turkey poutine followed by a cinnamon bun. Tasty and filling. Couldnt have finished this solo. Nice setting just off the U of A campus near Highlevel dinner.

Went on a Monday morning so we didn't wait more than 3-4 minutes for a table. Breakfast was delicious. We had the breakfast sandwich, coffee's, cappuccino and of course the cinnamon bun (must try!!). Loved the interior and a great vibe. The Service wasn't great - average at best. Normally its not a big deal at breakfast, except that I... More

Besides the excellent customer service, I have no complaints whatsoever. Food was delicious, and the atmosphere is quaint despite the business of the restaurant. Staff were friendly and prompt. Probably one of the best experiences to have (Their signature Chicken Waffles were very good)

We arrived after 11:00 AM, the parking is horrible, actually, not really sure where there is any. The wait was about 20 minutes. When we did get seated, the menus were on the table so when the waitress arrived about 5 minutes later, we gave our order, Sugarbowl Benny for both of us and splitting a cinnamon bun. The cinnamon... Don't be fooled by the carb-heavy name - here you can have perfectly good 'two eggs any style' and breakfast dishes like huevos rancheros that are less commonly found up North. I'll be back on my next trip!

Went for brunch on a weekend and this cozy little restaurant was packed. Even from the outside the sugar bowl emits energy and warmth. Just two of us so we got a spot at the bar right away. Chill friendly service even when filled to capacity. Food was quick, warm, and very flavourful! HUGE menu of beer and good portions... More

The breakfast specials were reasonably priced at $7.00 Free refills on the coffee. On Monday morning, the place was mostly empty, which was weird compared to most times I walk by and see the place packed. The food was tasty. Fast service. They had an extensive drink menu and a very short food menu.

Thank PMahdis
