While yes, I believe they make the best coffee in all Edmonton, my updated review is to express my increased appreciation for the selection of beans they produce and sell. They continue to source some of the world's absolute best coffee and bring it here into Edmonton. In fact, I'd say that they're getting better at the job as their... More

The best coffee shop in Edmonton. I visit the downtown location often. The staff are so wonderful. The best coffee, all sourced ethically, and the best tea that I have tasted. The description of flavours in the coffee are spot on. All of their coffees taste different, not like other coffee houses. Both locations employee young, talented staff. THE BEST!!!

We are from Cape Town which is very coffee orientated. We have amazing coffee spots so moving to a small town in Alberta has meant that I have had to adjust hugely to the coffee. Starbucks is good, but doesn't quite cut the coffee date spot. This place is lovely! truly reminds me of Cape Town. The coffee is good... More

I was in town in Edmonton for two weeks for work and on weekends I often like to get some work done in local coffee spots. I visited a Transcend location (near-ish to my hotel on Whyte Ave) and was quite satisfied with my Americano and Chocolate Croissant. The place also had a great atmosphere and vibe. I'd definitely go... More

I have been to a couple of the Transcend locations but frequent the one in Old Strathcona the most. I really love the atmosphere of the place and the staff are so friendly. I'm not a coffee drinker so I appreciate their non-coffee options. I do hear on a very regular basis that their coffee is top notch too though.... More

when we go to Edmonton one of our first stops is this cafe. They make a excellent flat white. unlike some of the chains that try to make a flat white but fail. This cafe gets the temperature of the milk perfect every time and the size of the bubbles in the foam. I am a very picky coffee drinker... More

I love this cafe. It has a great atmosphere and great coffee. All the baristas are amazing at latte art and always have a smile. It is in walking distance to the University of Alberta and Whyte Ave.

I have been reading all about this Transcend Coffee so decided to check it out. I found the coffee tasty but not bold enough for my liking. I also found it a bit pricey compared to Starbucks. ($4.75 for a regular Latte) The actual venue on 109 Street is lovely and their food offerings look divine. Next time I plan... More

Really good coffee. The site, on the corner of a busy main road is not that nice, but hey, it's worth it for the coffee. Did I say the coffee was good?
