We were a group of 8 for a birthday dinner. Everyone had positive feedback on their dinner choices. The menu offers interesting, different items. The server was a younger guy..just awesome! Friendly, efficient and really obliging with our huge DQ ice cream cake we brought with us. Would def recommend as the food was delicious, well priced and good size... More

We arrived as a family of five. 2 toddlers. Staff were very friendly. Place was hoping. Busy, cosy, warm. We didn't have to wait long at all.

Visited the Old Fork for lunch this week with 4 friends. Were seated and served by enthusiastic and friendly servers, water and drinks were delivered promptly. Several orders of Huavos Rancheros (sic?) and threes burger plates. The food quality was very good. Only downside was waiting 45 minutes for the kitchen to get the food out in a room that... More

Our group was a good size and they easily accommodated us, and our server was very friendly. Every one ordered different items off the extensive menu and no one was disappointed with the food. The only downside was our server was working alone, there were other tables to handle and another server was there sitting, on her break perhaps, and... More

As we entered at 6:30 pm, the room was empty. Not a good sign. A clearly relieved staff welcomed us and led us to a window seat. We didn't have reservations, but we were having more reservations by the minute. The menu was not enormous and the prices were quite reasonable. Our young, inenexperienced waiter stumbled through the specials... awkward,... More

I am always suspect restaurants inside hotels - I figure a captive audience may diminish motivation to impress and find that is often the case. Decided to give The Old Fork a try today - fantastic! Highly recommend it. The service was excellent, the food delicious with extra special touches like homemade bread and jam. Ambiance and music funky and... More

Good breakfast for our group of 7. Everyone was happy. Best dish was the huevos rancheros with fresh avocado. Regular breakfast was a good deal (weekdays for ~$7 when you order a drink), coffee was very weak though - but otherwise good service, nice decor, friendly servers.

Description
The Old Fork opened its doors on March 1, 2013. Instantly it has become a staple in the Duncan community as the most fun and funky place to grab a plate of food in the morning. Our most popular dishes: the Huevos Rancheros, Reggie's Old Fork and our classic bennies are house made and served by our friendly staff. Take a mix of old-style Southern goodness and modern restaurant professionalism with a Vancouver Island foodie sensibility and you have The Old Fork. Real Food made with Quality Ingredients at a Great Value.
