Great restaurant that caters well to people with dietary restrictions. My sister has celiac and father is on a macrobiotic diet, the food works for both of their needs but still offers chicken and flavours that everyone will enjoy.

Love my visits to Wild Scallion. Food is fresh made, consistent and of different selection than any other restaurants in Penticton. I appreciate the vegan and gluten free option. Food tastes great! I would love to see more added to the menu, however what is offered is spectacular. Yummy!

In Penticton to ride the GranFondo and was attending the Farmer's Market on Saturday. With all of the food vendors around decided we needed food and stumbled upon Wild Scallion at the end of the side road. We stopped in for lunch & a quick beer (need to carb up for the ride) and the food was FANTASTIC! Fresh and... More

This was my second visit to the Wild Scallion, about a year after the last, only because I live 5 hours from Penticton! I came across this little gem last year when I was in the area and searched 'Healthy Cafe'. The ratings looked great, and they were right! I came back tonight and was just as impressed. I had... I only had time for a quick lunch during the street market, but the choices were huge, and the small meal we chose was tasty, as everything I have tried there is. The menu might not please all, but it is nutritious, gluten free (needed) and tastes great without being heavy in sugars or fillers

Delishhhh! Tempted to try more than one dish? They do half-n-half for a buck extra. Just split tandoori lima beans and green lentils, jasmine rice, spinach salad with apricot dressing and the Laksa soup between two adults. So good are the portion sizes, we are full to the brim. Also, best vegetarian laksa I ever ate anywhere! Can be made... More

Vegan menu with main stream flavours. I am not a VEGAN of any variety and was pretty worried about going here for dinner, it was outstanding. Had the Laksa soup and some shitake spring rolls and it was bursting with flavour and freshness. Totally filled me up and I would go back again, for sure

We found the Wild Scallion by accident as it was one of the few take-out places open in the evening and we enjoyed our rainy evening picnic on the Naramata Bench only minutes away. There was a good deal of variety and our generously portioned meals were delicious and so healthy - completely guilt free indulgence. You could tell that... More

How often do you find Healthy and Delicious in one place? Well, the Wild Scallion not only was both, but the restaurant staff was also very pleasant and great with recommendations for both food and tea ~ oh and did I mention the desserts were fantastic! By far the best Gluten Free / Vegan dessert I have ever had! What... More

Consistently good cooking of exotic and vegan fare. Satisfies conventional diners too, but you can find interesting Asian, vegetarian, vegan dishes here; atmosphere very casual, sidewalk patio pleasant, reliably good food.
