Always enjoy going to opas ,dennis the menace is a favourite sushi roll of mine.opas is above the street in an old warehouse that been renovated, the decor is rustic which is part of the attraction to this place. I have had numerous rolls ,sashimi, sunomono, miso it's all good. When I need a sushi fix this is were I go.

Usually need a reservation on any weekend! Quieter during the week. Very yummy. Some chef originals on the menu.

Well, went and odered sushi from Opa... this time around tasted a bit better.... They need to learn how to roll sushi. Had this ordered for take out. Every single roll fell apart... made for quite the mess, come at least roll them so they stay together. There's not alot of sushi places to choose from in Rupert...so good luck... More

Loved the sushi - fresh, delicious and would definitely come back again. It was my first time trying tuna sashimi as well and not the last

Opa Sushi was definitely something of a surprise. It is located in the heart of the tourist district of Prince Rupert (i.e.: Cow Bay), above some tourist shops in an old net loft. As such, you could almost say that Opa Sushi is part of "living history" in a vague sense -- the re-purposed net left gives this restaurant a... More

What a find! In this very small town, tucked above a few tourist shops sits this absolute gem. Its like a retreat! So lovely and tranquil, the service was extremely friendly and the sushi was second to none. A hugely pleasant surprise. I went back for more on another occasion and if i had not have left the following day... More

I have been totally ruined by Opa, it is without a doubt the best Japanese restaurant on the west coast. If you like sashimi go for the large mixed platter which is a great taster ad has all sorts of treats including razor clams, scallops, sockeye salmon and tuna.

The fish melts in your mouth. The green tea ice cream is SOOOOO GOOOOOD. The service is awesome! Honestly, I've had such a bunch of times in Vancouver and the sushi here is incomparably better. I really love this place and we're blessed to have a place like this here.

All very fresh. Beautifully prepared. Great service. We had the large sashimi selection on a plank. We're from Hawaii where sushi is the best.
