Shuraku serves delicious food. The pork belly tacos, real crab California roll and grilled squid are my favourite. Ramen is only ok. It's usually busy in there so best to make a reservation

The food is very fresh and made to order so you do wait a little, not suitable if you want to eat quickly and get out - allow time to relax and enjoy. You might need to book. We had ribs which were great, soba noodles very good. Avocado and tofu salad very refreshing. We went 2 nights in a... More

Good thing we got there a bit before 12 as it quickly filled to capacity. Our fish was fresh, delicate and tasty. Service was good and we were well treated.... More

Had a nice lunch with my wife. Apart from the waiter spilling som wine on my wife, we had a nice time with good food not too pricy. Its good place to stopp for a bite to eat when You are looking for something nice but not too fancy.

The food was excellent but not a lot of options for people who don't drink beer or sake, not that it bothered me because my husband loved it. The service was quick and very tasty. Recommend a visit.

To start off the meal we got a table for seven though reservations. But instead of getting a table to accommodate our abnormally sized family we got a table that was fitting for a table for four persons. Then I decided to freshen up, and saw my self in a extremely poorly kept facilities. Besides that the sushi was pretty... More

We had a great lunch. Very fresh sushi. Probably the best chicken teriyaki I've ever had. Friendly staff and quick service. Not much to look at from outside but definitely go inside where it's really nicest the food is great!

What a great meal! We had a nice ramen dinner. The ambiance was wonderful. The noise level was low. They kept bringing out amazing and fresh plates to tables around us. The prices are extremely reasonable. The staff is as nice as could be. Great area to walk around afterwards.

I came here a year ago for lunch in the summer and really enjoyed it so I recommended it to my friends for dinner in February with glowing recommendation. Got there and the service was less than adequate with the host wanting nothing to do with us. He sat us at a table by 2 empty booths (restaurant was mostly... More

Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
