Love this place. Slightly off the beaten path located at 2480 Vine St. Take Broadway Ave west to Vine and turn right; approximately 50 metres on right side. Do not mix it up with the sterile chrome and glass coffee shop across the street. Hardwood floors, local people, seats 25 plus outside seating, very clean, and owned by a mother/ daughter... More

We have had lunch there in the past though not recently. Of the sandwiches we liked the Waldorf and the Lean Machine come to mind. Soups were always fairly good. But the other day we were in the neighbourhood and wanted a coffee and a treat. My wife had a decaf Americano and no pastry. I had a latte and... More

This little hidden gem just off Broadway on Vine has a great array of homemade and Spanish/Mexican influence dishes. Lots of wraps, sandwiches as well. Illy coffee brands, as well as their 'Red' Tea Espresso drinks. Service prompt and friendly. Good amount of seating, although it was quite warm inside..they were trying to keep things cool by keeping the door... More

Staying in Kitsilano

Neighbourhood Profile
Kitsilano
Kitsilano is one of Vancouver's most transformative neighbourhoods. With a long history of coffee culture and poetry readings, its days of flower children and buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving their mark on the number of organic restaurants and fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of Kitsilano ("Kits" for short) the almost idyllic expanse of Kits Beach offers the opportunity for a relaxed afternoon of beach volleyball or sunbathing. Along with the beachfront, nearby public pools and trendy street-beats have driven up the homeowners prices, making it a haven for stylish home goods stores, from design and furniture, to supplies and appliances. The multitude of both families and public spaces also make it a happening neighbourhood in the summer, when festivals and fairs take to Kits' streets.
