For 2 people we ordered a ridiculous amount of food. We had gift cards and just wanted to use up. We tried their chicken wings, burgers, soup. The food was fine for your standard pub food. They had a pretty good drink menu.

I booked a space at The Tavern which is downstairs. It was great! Food was good and so was the music. The communication with the manger was also wonderful. I'll book another party here for sure!

This place has typical bar food. I had the Reuben which was overcooked. My husband had the HUGE burger! Truly oversized from what we expected. They cook everything medium, so it was a little tough for his liking. We were with a group of friends....More

I went for Dine Out and the food was decent, but we spent more time waiting for the food than eating it. The server was barely around and our location near the stairs meant people loitering around our table as we ate. I wouldn't go...More

Description
A nod to both the University of Oxford and British sporting culture, the New Oxford sits proudly on the edge of Yaletown, an ideal addition to Vancouver’s notoriously trendy neighbourhood. The room runs the width of the entire city block, and reveals rustic gray millwork, classic pub-style furniture and black & white photos with a pop art treatment. A 50-foot-long cantilevered bar serves as the room’s centrepiece, and leads visitors into a ‘study’ area, complete with taxidermy, original-print hardcover books, vintage sporting gear and comfortable seating. Open seven days a week, the New Oxford serves original and classic cocktails, craft beer and local, organic pub fare, with a busy brunch weekends and holidays.
