We visited Novo Pizzeria from a friend's recommendation and we are thrilled we went! The food was authentic Italian and fresh -- tasted just like Italy. We had the fresh gnocchi pasta... to die for!, a wood-fired oven margherita pizza, and tiramisu to finish things off. Novo should open in Toronto, we would be there all the time!

Came into Novo after watching a movie at 5th Ave cinemas and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Everything was fresh and the service was excellent. We shared a bunch of things on the menu - our favourites was the prosciutto and arugula pizza and the Sicilian Canoli are to die for. Will be back for sure.

My friend and I stopped in here for Friday night dinner after a movie next door. The place was packed (so I recommend reservations) - we ended up sitting at the "bar" on high stools facing the chefs. Very comfy though and the server was very attentive. Our four cheese pizza with extra artichokes arrived promptly and was plenty for... More

This is a great place to grab a bite before or after a Movie. It is right next door to the 5th Ave Theatres. Good service and excellent thin crust pizza.

We dropped in to Novo at 1800 on a Tuesday in the middle of a double-header at the 5th Ave cinema next door (Rogue One and Jackie). Having been to this location in earlier incarnations we had neither great nor poor expectations. We were seated promptly and noted that in spite of the place nearly being full we could carry... We dropped in to Novo on a rainy Wednesday night after catching a late matinee at the Fifth Avenue Cinemas next door. It's very convenient, especially in the rain, for a quick bite before or after a movie. Novo has a nice feel with an open pizza making station where you can watch the staff throw the dough into pizza... More

Loved it the first time, hence, the return. Nice decor, open concept, simple and comfortable. Service was friendly and attentive, cocktails, tasty (but pricey for what you get), pasta - one carbonara, other with mushrooms/truffle oil - excellent, pizza - one burrata and proscuitto, other margherita - better than expected. Olive oil cake was a tad dry and slightly burnt.... More

Purchased a coupon for a 5 course dinner valued at $99. Definitely worth it. Appetizer was great, pasta good and pizza was very good. Read reviews that pizza coverings were sparse but definitely now our experience. Worth a try!

went here on a groupon - a word of warning, DON"T BUY the groupon because it's actually cheaper to order a la carte. The amuse-bouche was tasty as was the small chacouterie plate. These were served as appetizers and neither one was on the menu. The pasta dishes we ordered off the menu and both were delicious and good sized... More

Nova is a pizzeria. The food was okay. The pizzas were fine but thin on the toppings. My wife didn't finish her pasta. She said is only average. The salads were nice. . The location (next to 5th Avenue Cinemas) is okay except for parking challenges. The service was okay - a tad perfunctory and too quick at times. We... More
