I've gone to Ho Ho Yummy manyl times over the last few years and the food was decent and cheap. Today, I just needed a quick bite after running errands. Sadly, their food has gone downhill. They have always had a large selection in their ready to eat area. But they keep their food out way too long. The curry... More

I've been going to HoHo for years and the food is always consistently good and prices are reasonable. It's a family owned and run business with a really cheerful and friendly staff. The kitchen seems to be very large and is always steaming away. For a real treat and I think their best menu is the take out, delivery service.... More

Ho Ho's is especially great for delivery. The portions seem fresher and larger than what you get at the store front and it comes piping hot and fast. The wonton soup is the best I've ever had. A large will feed two people. The squid is a favourite, and the crispy noodle dishes are great. Anything with prawns has a... More

I stopped here for a cheap dinner. Ho Ho has numerous options if you are on a budget. What separates Ho Ho from other take outs is their dishes. Each dish tastes like it was freshly made. I ordered three items with chow mein. The beef brisket was packed with flavor, with pieces of ginger and star anise. The beef... More

I was walking by so grabbed a take out of three items. It was ok sweet and salty. Probably not healthy lol. It was quick and easy. Not much of a line up.

Ho Ho's is good if you need a quick takeout meal at a good price. I chose the 2 items w. noodles and it was enough food for two meals and cost less than $8. Vegetables could be cut smaller but you get what you pay for.

Gave it five stars based on the type of restaurant it is -- mainly take out. Great and friendly owners. Food is always fresh as there is a great turnover. One night I ate at one of the tables and enjoyed watching all of the comings and goings. All you can eat for 10.00$s with lots of choice. Worth the... More

Been a while since we were there so we thought we would give them a try. You get what you pay for. The quality is not great as everything is in liquids to keep it hot. Their selection is better than most buffet style Chinese takeouts. Prices are reasonable and portions are still generous. Do it as a take out... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Davie Village
Davie Village is the vital LGBTQ heart of Vancouver. It is the only like area in the world to have a permanent four-way rainbow crosswalk, to symbolise the city's solidarity with many of the businesses, ranging from bars to bookstores, that keep the area vibrant. By day, it is a people-watching stop, with fantastic boutique cafes, but at night is when it really shines, humming with neon lights and nightclub music inside many of the hip and trendy bars and dance halls. The area is diverse and welcoming, and its supportive community makes for a tight-knit group of independent and creative shops.
