I went here today with some friends for dinner. The restaurant is an eclectic mix of traditional and modern Japanese Decor. We were seated right away, but we did have a reservation. The servers were polite but felt it necessary to mention they had a two hour dinner limit. The restaurant was perhaps three quarters full so I thought the... More

Was walking by and stepped in. Great food! Recommend the Sakura cocktail, avocado salad and sushi. They could do with live music.

Japanese fusion pub with big TV's screening sports. Delicious fresh sashimi. Mussels and clam pot was nice though not a lot in a regular portion. Chicken wings were delicious, scallop chowder was sumptuous. Able to talk and hear each other. Service was ok. Saw some Japanese coming in to eat too.

I always wanted to go in here since I can smell good aromas when I walk by this corridor with bountiful options of restaurants. Their plates, particularly the sushi were beautifully presented. I was surprised that they did not offer soy sauce although the wasabi accompanied the dishes. Overall, the food was good. However, it`s no comparison to the 2... More

Our group of four enjoyed our meal there. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and prompt. The food was excellent; tea was served without asking, and we were not rushed.

Refreshing to go to a Japanese restaurant that offers some different options to the usual California rolls, sashimi and nigiri (for example, the oyster tacos). Great flavours, beautifully presented and delivered without much waiting time. Perfect pre-movie dinner with friends.

Went there with a couple of friends. We were quite surprised when we saw the uniforms of the waitress (Santa) and got worried about our choice. Nothing to worry about, all we chose was great tasty, fresh and the service was great.

I love the food here. It is fresh and so delicious. The mussels, oysters, and truffle fries are so decadent. Awesome happy hour menu with affordable prices. A good place to go before or after a movie at the Scotiabank Theatre.

Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
