Good quality coffee at several locations in Vancouver. Service is friendly and fast. Seating is comfortable.

It was only moments from our hotel and their coffee is fantastic. We also had breakfast there and it was a bit pricey but it was good.

My husband and I were in Vancouver celebrating an anniversary, and broke our Starbucks habit when the closest one had no seating for breakfast - we landed at Caffe Artigiano and what a find! Their coffee is delicious, without the bitterness sometimes found at the other store. Décor is Tuscan/Italian with tiles and pottery, very pleasing. Their fruit/nut scone is... More

This cafe was our go to place for a bit of winter warm up. It was in a handy location with a nice cosy ambience. The staff misunderstood our orders both times but the service was quick.

Awesome vanilla latte and scones. Warm smiles, fast service and cheerful attitude from the attractive young staff. Old world decor and brightly lit with plenty of indoor seating for an establishment this size. No wait for coffee on the Sunday morning I visited. Foam on the latte was artfully attended to forming a lovely design and making both my patronage... More

The coffee at this cafe is decent (good lattes) but the service is only mediocre and there is no WiFi available (is this a 21st century cafe?). There were three employees when my wife went in. My wife was the only customer. She's 8 months pregnant and sat at a table to wait for her latte. When it was ready,... More

Service is really nice , and important choice of cakes and coffees. The design is also nice : in wood with nice posters you don't feel that you are in a chain

Went in for a london fog tea and to get out of the rain. Was good midsize hot drink. Restaurant has lots of seats and bar at window to sit at. Would go back for food and other drinks.

This place is tremendously popular with locals. Do try their house cappuccino-it was the best I've had to date.

Nice coffee, but very poor seating and tables, with torn areas of seating, present. Toilet backs right onto seating area, where people are eating and drinking coffee, yuck! No plugs for internet or WiFi provided. This is a self service coffee shop, for some reason, when paying by card, you are prompted to give a tip, even before you pay... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
