After flying in from London all we wanted was a pleasant meal, a glass or two of wine and then to bed. Mosaic delivered the first two and the Hyatt the bed. The food was well cooked and presented and the waiting staff exceptional in their care and attentiveness. We had a fantastic table in the window and enjoyed watching... More

I had both room service and lunch. Very good food. Nice variety. Good service. Nice setting if you can get a window seat. With so many great restaurants in the area, this one has to stay competitive.

The Mosaic has a relaxing lounge with very good service and a warm ambiance. The late night menu has limited choices bit all are well prepared and presented and tasty.

Any time you are downtown vancouver, this is a great place to get away from the busy streets and grab a good meal in a very peaceful environment. First of all the service level here is very high. Servers do a very good job and so does the chef. Food is very fresh and generous portions. Price is no different... More

Ate here one of the days we were staying at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver. The breakfast buffet is $28 before tax but it is a fairly nice buffet with good wait service as well making sure drinks are never low. They allowed my two year old to eat for free (which was much appreciated because WOW does he have an... More

excellent food. well prepared. We ate breakfast each day and dinner two days. The food was comparable to that found in higher priced restaurants in the area. Wine selections featuring local wines were also excellent

The food portions were very small. First our server was quite attentive but over the course of the meal he disappeared. We were a party of four. Two of our meals came and then there was at least a five minute gap before the other two meals arrived. We ended up starting to eat before the other meals were served.... More

We've dined here for 3 mornings in a row and we loved it! First time we ordered a la carte, as we arrived after 11 AM. I've had the Roberts Creek Dungeness crab benedict and I loved it! My wife had over easy eggs and they were cooked perfectly. The second two times we had the buffet, and we were... More

Mosaic has a nice modern vibe....something about where it's situated within the hotel and the good lighting. The food is great...I enjoyed a steak sandwich with a perfectly toasted bun, and hand cut fries with good quality rock salt clinging to the sides in a delicious sort of way. Quick attentive service for our large group.

Food was great. Breakfast buffet was excellent. A bit pricey perhaps but it was great food. Omelette station doesn't normally happen in a restaurant on a Monday- Friday basis. So this was a treat. Used the bar on one occasion for a casual drink with a friend. Staff was attentive but not pushy. Served an excellent local pale ale.

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
