Service here is fantastic and prices are very reasonable. The wine selection was ok and for once the prices weren't over inflated. My husband had to return the green curry as there were only 3 small chunks of chicken and a replacement was bought back out within a few minutes. The food was good but we've had better Thai food... Table for 4 on a Sunday night, busy place full of laughter and spicy Thai aroma! Very comfortable, authentic décor. Enclosable private dining area just off lounge. Main dining area very large. Tables can be easily arranged to accommodate any size group. We were quickly seated and taken very good care of by our server Ryu. He was very patient... More

Our family of 4 dined here on Saturday 19 March 2016. Service was quick and efficient. It's a busy restaurant with freshly cooked food. I loved the green prawn curry. Very traditional Thai flavours. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency and it's a 5 minute walk from there. Best to book if you're there for dinner on a Saturday night.

After visiting Thailand we have been craving Thai and finally made it a point to come here then go see a movie as it is right across the street. Warm atmosphere, great food, pricing and service. Have the Siam sunshine drink with rum , vodka and Thai spices! We shared a little of everything and probably the best spring rolls... More

Wonderful Thai restaurant in downtown Vancouver. The Thai green curry and the Ginger chicken were very good. Only minor complaint would be service was slow but was informed by waiter that one server was absent that day.

This restaurant is extremely popular, so best to eat a little early or make a reservation. Order the set meal; what they call a tasting meal. 8 courses for $28, and each one a delight. There was plenty for us, even though we split one meal. They will do that for you! I ordered a sticky rice as well. It... More

The food was really good; the curries that we had, and the pad thai were excellent, and the appetizers were ok; but I'd skip the fish cakes next time. The service was sub-par at best. It wasn't very busy; and we were sitting for almost 20 minutes before anyone came to the table; though there appeared to be many uniformed... More

Been coming here for more than a decade when in town on work. Always impressive and never had a bad meal yet. Whether I get pad Thai, curry, or anything else they always impress. The price is a bit heavy but will pay for consistency and they always deliver.

We were visiting my son on vacation last week and he wanted to take us to a great Thai restaurant and he took us here! The Sala Thai did not disappoint. We only waited 5 min before being seated. We enjoyed the decor and then sat down to eat. Wow, everything we ordered was amazing! We started with some Spring... More

This is a popular lunch spot, but I imagine it would be nice for dinner also. Our food was good albeit somewhat typical. I have nothing to complain about the food but it was not outstanding either. The serving were plenty large ( enough to take some home). Service was friendly, quick, and efficient

Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
