My friends and I have been having Saturday breakfast at the Hideaway for over 5 years. Dana is our server and she couldn't be more pleasant. The food is always hot and fresh. We are very sad to see that a larger development is taking over the complex and the restaurant is closing at the end of February. I just... More

Very handy spot for a quick lunch on the way to downtown from north island via Hwy 1. It is behind the Tally Ho motel, (defunct), but still with a big sign. Parking is on the left, behind and on the right which is where the entrance is. We had sandwiches and soup from the Express Menu, and were very... More

Sadly, although the atmosphere is upbeat and the staff are super friendly, the food is very average. With all the top notch brunch restaurants in Victoria, you really need to step up your game to compete. The food was tasteless, over-fried, and certainly over-priced.

An hour for 8 people to be served. Order lost?? No coffee till I asked. Never saw the waitress until she brought my breakfast. 5 groups served after. Food is ok. Scrambled eggs? One plate at a time?? I finished and only one plate served.

This is our go-to place when we have friends we want to meet for a bite or just grab a quick lunch while in town. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is always prepared just how you like it.

We had breakfast and the servings were generous. What we loved was the fact they use quality eggs - looked to us like free-range eggs because the yolks were a lovely dark yellow as opposed to the pale yolks many restaurants serve. The flavour was great. The coffee was very good too. It will become our go-to breakfast place while... More

Kitty's Hideaway is located in City Centre Hotel, the decor is a wee bit outdated ( 1980's) but the food is fantastic, nothing over the top just big portions that don't cost big bucks. There is an outdoor pool that Kitty's patrons can use without being hotel guests. Just take note Kitty's closes from 2:30-4:30pm daily. But to reduce inconvenience... More
