When we were there a few years ago the music was great and the food good. Love it. We ordered a deep fry platter which was good but I regretted it as I shouldn't be eating that much deep fry.

Great beer selection, including flights to sample a variety. We were lucky to stop in on a night with a great band of young lads singing/playing songs from Ireland and Scotland. They were great, we even bought a CD! Will definitely go back next visit...More

During our 3 day stay, we hit most of the pubs in the heart of the city and this one was a one timer. The soup was good, but the service wasn’t great and the bartender was awful. There are too many other better choices.More

Stopped in at this pub for a bite to eat. Three man band was playing Irish tunes - fantastic and the service was great along with the food. Would definitely go back again.

We stopped in for the New Years day buffet. Staff was awesome and the food was excellent! Loads of waffles, pancakes, bacon, eggs, fried potatoes and toast. I loved their special eggnog syrup....Delicious!

We had two burgers ($15 each) and added bacon ($2.00) and cheese ($1.25) plus cheesecake for dessert ($8.95) and one scoop of ice cream ($2.95) and two ice teas ($7.00) all for a grand total of $54.77 with tax, no gratuity.

Description
Welcome to the Irish Times Pub, where excellent design and authenticity are at the heart of downtown Victoria's BEST IRISH PUB! Located at 1200 Government Street, the Irish Times Pub is home to 190 seats over two floors with 80 seats available on our patios, opening onto both Government Street and historic Bastion Square. Our concept goes far beyond mere architecture though. The Irish Times opened with everything it takes to make a pub successfully Irish, including authentic Live Irish music, 7 nights a week. The tradition of Ireland has also been extended to our menu, which has been developed on a philosophy of creating traditional Irish food and drink that is both contemporary and funky, showcasing Irish Pub Food as you would see in Ireland today.
