We had a late supper Saturday night of the May long weekend. It was extremely quiet with only four tables filled. I tried the crab and prawn linguine and was rather disappointed. While the sauce had a nice flavor, the dish was swimming in it and the few pieces of crab I found were overpowered by the sauce. I saw... More

During our two week trip to Victoria, B.C., we went to Jonathon's twice. My mother loved the seafood pasta and I enjoyed the garlic shrimp one time and Hunter's chicken the second time. The salads were delicious as were the home-made buns. We also shared a desert - apple surrounded by a light pastry with chocolate sauce and whipped cream.... More

A nice quiet restaurant with great food! It is also licensed. The staff are friendly. Restaurant is in the Royal Scott Hotel and next door to the Embassy Inn.

We had dinner and breakfast at this restaurant adjacent to the Royal Scot. Food is good, and the dinner specials are a good deal. Lots of choices for breakfast. Only bad comment is the crab cakes - not recommended, tasted very fishy.

We walked down to Jonathons every morning for breakfast. We were staying at the Harbour Towers in the next block but it had poor breakfast reviews so we decided to go to Jonathons instead. The staff is super friendly and the portions were really big. My daughter had stuffed French toast which had 4 pieces of French toast stuffed with... More

Looking for a local place for late breakfast, so we tried this establishment. Friendly staff members and we both went with the ham & cheese omeletes. Overall it was a nice dining experience, however personally did not like the texture of the ham used (too grainy & salty) in the omelete.

I had breakfast, twice, at the restaurant and was very happy with my meal both times. A special mention to the staff who were friendly and efficient with a sense of humor.

Food was good and delivered hot but owner is lacking customer service skills. He was quite brusque in his mannerism.

Johnathan's has a varied menu - something for everyone at reasonable cost. The service there is very good.

I know there are many restaurants in Victoria to explore but when staying at the wonderful Royal Scot Hotel why would anyone bother to search out somewhere to eat when Jonathan's has all bases covered except for Chinese Food. I was with a tour group over Christmas for the second time and had most meals in this restaurant. George, the... More
