Had a very good dinner at Araxi. Sat at bar as we did not have reservations. I had salmon dish and co-worker had tuna, which looked outstanding. Person next to us had scallops which was probably the best. Good wine and I asked for a small salad which they made as it was not on menu.

Stopped by this weekend. Definitely recommend a reservation. We booked our reservation quite a bit out (6 weeks prior) and still didn't get the night we wanted for a group of nine people. Reservations aside, food, ambience and service were wonderful. Definitely recommend the seafood tower if you like seafood. Oysters and smoked salmon were our favorite. I appreciate that... More

Our visit to Araxi restaurant in Whistler Village was one of the highlights of the trip, and one of the best meals we have had. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the knowledge of the manager on the wines, particularly the BC vineyards, was amazing. We were told be had studied as a Somelier and i truly believe... More

President's day weekend. The place was packed. We went early about 5:30 amd we were seated in the bar area. Service was excellent, very attentive to make sure we were happy. Food was just delicious... as expected for a high end restaurant. I can't say enough about the service.. my 5 year old wanted a blue and green crayon and... More

We saved Araxi for our Whistler farewell meal. Great dinner. We sat at the bar and watched the sushi chef and oyster guys do their thing. Very entertaining. We had the Mixed BC Ceviche and Miso Crusted BC Sable Fish. Both were excellent. Good service at a very, very busy place.

We ate here last week and the food was wonderful. Very busy restaurant in the middle of the village. Wait staff was attentive but not overbearing. In fact our dinner for 6 of us lasted 3 hours. Make a reservation on Open Table. You will be glad you did. Enjoy!

Fine dining in elegant casual style ( I wore cool jeans and a sporty shirt, some guys had ties on, others looked a bit grungy for the place in my opinion). very knowlegable waiter. Delicious food. We got the 2 tier seafood meal and it was amazing. Oysters, prawns, sushi, the best ceviche I've ever had)

We chose this restaurant on the recommendation of a local contact who delivers for WhistlerDineIn.com. We wanted a grand way to end our weeklong trip to Whistler. We were not disappointed. They were able to accomodate a party of 9. Scallops and oysters were the top ordered dinners, though others had shrimp, steak, and lamb. Note: if you plan to... More

The most expensive restaurant in Whistler village. You expect the best food, service... But that is not what you will find there nowadays. We booked a table with more than one month of advance and they gave as a VERY BAD table besides the kitchen exit and the dining room was empty. They made us to come back to reception... More
