I heard really great things about this restaurant and it did not live up to the hype. Might have been an off night for them.

We have been coming to this restaurant for years. The apres ski is offered daily from 3 to 5pm. 10 fresh pacific oysters for 18$...best deal in town! Over on the restaurant side, food quality is still amazing, however main course portions were quite small. Our server was a very nice guy, but the formalities of fine dining are lacking.... More

We go to Whistler an average of three times a year and have been eating at Araxi on every trip for over ten years. The food is perfect along with the service and world class wine list. The Loin of Venison, the Duck Breast and the Tuna entree's are to die for along with the Beet Salad and Tuna Crudo.... More

A friend and I came for dinner on a girls weekend. We both had heard good things about Araxi and wanted to give it a try. We made reservations and it was a good thing we did. Very popular spot. The food was all tasty and well presented. I would definitely return.

Beautiful fine dining that lived up to its reputation. Hard to get in at peak times, but worth the effort. A good menu with plenty of fresh and local produce. Fresh oysters. Good ambiance. A very helpful and well informed sommelier particularly for one so young. Meal presentation was excellent. So I would return without hesitation.

We met some friends here for oysters after a day of snowboarding. What a great place. It does tend to fill up fast, but worth a wait. We had 3 plates with 20 oysters each and my boy had the venison. Both were awesome.

Two expectant teens joined my wife and me to celebrate a birthday. We chose the restaurant on the basis of recommendations from the hotel concierge and a friend who had visited Whistler many times. We needed to book about five days in advance and started with quiet cocktails at the bar before heading to our table. The food was wonderful... More

It is fantastic to have a world class wine list in Whistler after a long day of skiing. Better to Marry it to excellent local dishes - Like the venison. Truffle fries were very good as well. When we requested a customized pasta - the chef accommodated without hesitation. Extraordinary place.

If you are in Whistler, please try to visit Araxi! Lovely atmosphere, imaginative food and an excellent wine list! The service is also exceptional! The fish dishes especially are to be recommended - tuna tartare and a fabulous sable fish in a broth - makes you realise you need not eat sable fish as black cod! A wonderful antidote to... More

In the heart of the village, very nice vibe with a good wine list. Expensive but good value. Fresh oysters a specialty and well worth trying a sampling from around the area.
