We have been to Sushi Village most years in the last 20. The food continues to be good - sushi, sashimi, sukiyaki, tempura etc.. We were 7 this time and in a booth which is good. You do have to book in advance to avoid an often significant wait. Moderately irritating to be told that we had had our allotted... More

We had a family ski holiday. Get there early to get your name on the list! We were there 5:30, had a drink, read the menu and were seated by 6:30. Just delicious fresh sushi and food. Our kids are 10 and 13. They loved too. Always a great indicator of a great sushi restaurant.

We have been to Sushi Village several times, never disappointed. At our most recent visit, we had our own private dining cubicle which was nice. Attentive service and deliciously fresh rolls and sashimi. It's busy, and no reservations except for large groups, so you need to put your name in, then wander and shop, and they will page you when... More

Coming from the SF bay area, Sushi Village is on par with our usual. Because it's Whistler, it gets packed. Get there early-like 20-30 minutes before opening and you'll get seated in the first seating. Otherwise, expect to wait. They only take reservations for groups of 6 or more.

There is ALWAYS a line-up. Hand in your name, go for a walk, and come back for the best Japanese fare in the area. The delicious sushi is served beautifully (try the Salmon Combo), the Udon soups are filling, and he grills are great. Staff is friendly and accommodating, despite their frenetic pace. We ate there twice on this trip.

We've been coming to Sushi village for the past 17 years. We have always had exceptional service and great sushi. I'm torn to report the last two visits have ben off the mark. The service was still great. The wait for a table during peek ski season is long.... but grab drink and talk to the others. As far as... More

We when to Sushi Village for my friend's birthday dinner! We waited in the bar area and order cold sake, which my friend never had. I had to order it for her birthday! I ordered the salmon combo, it was amazing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for how busy they were! Three of us went on a Sunday... More

We were told to try to book sushi village when visiting Whistler, unfortunately, after calling and hearing they don't take reservations, it seemed like a longshot we would get in. Our concierge recommended that we go early put our names down and return later, which worked out perfectly. We were seated in a comfortable booth and were greeted by the... More

Never been disappointed. Worth the wait, if you don't have a reservation. Leave the choice of food to the waiter, they know better! Friendly service, moderately priced. Place is noisy, hopping, so probably not a good place if you had a romantic event in mind...
