We tend to go there every time we visit Brandon. Salads always fresh and tasty with delicious dressing. Buffet much better value than ala carte. Chicken and pork schnitzel both delicious. Not sure if perogies are made fresh or are frozen. Bratwurst spicy and tasty....More

My wife & I went to Hansel & Gretel's for Father's Day, & we found that the buffet was hot, fresh, & most enjoyable. It was our 2nd visit & will definitely will not be the last visit. Service was prompt, friendly & courteous. Thank...More

We were so excited to find a German restaurant in Brandon since ours in Winnipeg closed. Unfortunately it was a wasted trip. We went with buffet and it was the worst German food I think I've ever had. I grew up eating spaetzle and know...More

Thought we would give it another try. Pork schnitzel was good, tender as well. Chicken one seemed dry and tough. Gravy was good. Spaetzel was ok too. Ok meal but a bit pricey. Overall ok.

This restaurant is small but cozy it has awesome food and awesome service! The food is hot and fresh and the portions are so huge that one plate can feed two! The prices are decent as well, I give them two thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻😊

Upon entry you feel a transformation taking place. The Restaurant is small, cozy like a Bavarians family kitchen. Little disappointing the small variety of foods but compensated by the sheer amount of it. I did prefer the a la card over the buffet and the...More

Went with a large group for a birthday dinner. 2 glasses and 4 salad plates on the table were dirty. When handed to the server to exchange for clean dishes, she didn't seem at all concerned. We also had to sort through dinner plates at...More

My sister and I went and ordered the sampler platter so we could get a taste of everything. It was a little annoying when we couldn't order a small sampler platter and it was going to cost $20 each anyway, but not a big deal....More

Unless you are a lumberjack with a big appetite you might want to share an order of schnitzel. It's delicious but I could easily have shared the meal with another. And still been full.
