We went on a Wednesday for oysters and were willing to spend money. Well, good luck. We all had empty glasses, oysters took forever. I don't go to many places where I want to spend money and they don't wish to accept it.

Came here for the tourtiere. It wasn't quite as good as I remembered, but was still very nice. Sat on the patio.

Excellent food, full of imagination and flavour, and very friendly service! Interesting wine list, and tasty desserts, though a bit too sweet for me.

Great night for tasty explosions! We ordered the charcuterie and it was divine. So much flavor and many items. This would be nice with a bottle of wine for lunch! I had fish and sticks, so pickerel, the batter was heaven. The sticks were like...More

Restaurant not very busy so staff had time to chat with us. Friendly staff, knowledgeable about their city. We sat at a bar table in a nice spot near windows. All our meals were delicious & calamari very good, given where we were! Dishes were...More

French influenced menu with interesting variations. I very much enjoyed the French onion soup. The special of the day was a flank steak salad with Israeli couscous, roasted tomatoes, cauliflower and greens delightfully seasoned. Service also excellent.

I love being adventurous but the menu was really restricted when we went and I found it very overpriced. Went with a group and most just opted for appetizers and a dessert.

This was, as I had expected, a fantastic choice! Peasant Cookery has a gorgeous decor and vibe and a lovely patio with umbrellas or straight up sun shine for you to cook in! The wait staff and the manager Carly are all exceptional and I...More

I invited a number of international colleagues for dinner. I can only speak from what I heard or personality experienced. The service was friendly, warm and professional, but not without humour. I enjoyed my Brisket and my colleagues appear to have enjoyed their food. Our...More

Parking isn't ideal but there is several parkades close by. If you go in the evenings you probably won't have an issue but if you go during the day, especially on a busy day downtown, you may have difficulty. And it would... More
