Our St. Patrick's day pub crawl brought is to two bar stools at Johnny G's! Two green beers and a chance to talk with Johnny G himself made for a nice stop during our tour of the Exchange District in downtown Winnipeg. It was a bit slow here when we stopped by, but that made it nice to see this... More

Johnny G's makes one of the best burgers in Winnipeg, they are huge and delicious! However, the Greek salad on the side this night was quite soggy and had way too much dressing. It was also very slow in the restaurant, but yet the service wasn't very good as we had to try and get the servers attention in order... More

Visited recently before a show in the Exchange District. Have visited several times in the last several years. The interior is old, dated and showing many signs of wear and tear. Menu is limited and it appears from the menu and the servers knowledge only a few salad options would be safe for being gluten free. It's too bad that... More

Our party of 10 went for dinner on a busy Saturday evening. Although parking in the Exchange area is difficult at the best of times (no street parking was available, and the parkade across the street cost us $9!), the quality of the food almost made up for the parking hassle. Most of our party ordered the steak and seafood... More

I moved to Winnipeg 2 years ago and discovered this place close to my work. I've gone there for their features from pasta to steak to having nachos, everything we've had in this restaurant has been good, they also have good drink features and I've gone there as late as 230am after winning some cash at the casino. Great times... More

This is the worse place to go. Servers are drunk or dont care about their jobs 99% of the time. Takes half an hour to get a drink. Everytime ive been here it has been the worse restaurant experience

Johnny G's is the best place in Winnipeg to satisfy your late night munchies. After a night out downtown head to Johnny G's for one of their amazing burgers. The food is really great but the service can be slow as the place gets very busy at times. It's well worth the wait as the burgers are that good.

There's many good places to grab a bite, or a complete meal in the Exchange. Johnny G's is the place to go for an honest burger. Every time I go I have not been disappointed. The last visit my partner & I had the same thing - the Mushroom Swiss Burger. It was hot, juicy, HUGE, and just what the... More

The food is good and well priced. Sometimes the service is slow, so come early if your are going the any show before.

I love the Johnny G's in the exchange district! The atmosphere really suits the neighborhood. Food is pretty good too!
