We have eaten at ale house quite a few times and have recommended it to others. However our meal this time was only ok, food was luke warm, and in my opinion, was overpriced for mediocre pub food- will not be back anytime soon

Nice selection of beer available. Shared the Crab & Spinach Dip and it was one of the best spinach dips I've had. Also shared the mussels, which were really good as well. The table I was sitting at had a nice view of the boardwalk and harbor.

We went to the Alehouse to kill time while our teenagers were involved in other events. I was happy to see they have Shock Top Beer which not all restaurants have. We started with an appetizer which was the kettle chips that were delicious. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the buttermilk chicken, Everything was very... More

We had the fish and chips and honestly we have had much better in Deluxe Fish and Chips. The fish portion was huge, chips mediocre, and not at all worth $20. Been at the restaurant before, and that time got the buttermilk chicken which again was over-rated. Service, although very slow, was friendly and efficient. Can't speak to the other... More

Had a delicious cider, made in New Brunswick. The haddock and Chips would benefit from a choice of sweet potato fries and less batter on the haddock. Service was excellent.

Good list of local beers and ciders as well as craft beers from away. Food menu was also very good as the title would imply.

The Ale house definitely offers beer lover's a wide variety of brews to choose from. The food alone however is worth the visit. In a rustic but trendy setting you can relax, enjoy great food and if you grab a window booth, enjoy the view of the boardwalk and harbour. In the summer you can also choose to enjoy on... More
