Went for the inexpensive lobster roll and it was hardly worth the $12.00, would rather pay an additional fee for a better roll. The lobster was very cold and did not have much flavor. All four of us were somewhat disappointed. They were having a...More

Sorry you were disappointed. We serve our lobster rolls cold. That is how they are made in the Maritimes. The same lobster roll size and temperature is served around the corner for $20. As to not expecting a crowd... Our local port authority removed the...More

We had lunch here on the recommendation of a tour guide we passed, just down the street from our cruise terminal. It's located in an old building with great atmosphere and reminded me of pubs in England. The Lobster Roll was wonderful and by far...More

My wife & I decided to stop in for lunch after doing a city trolley tour. The pub itself is nothing spectacular to see. It is just a local pub with a pool table. But, the Lobster rolls @ [$12.00] might have been the best...More

Glad you enjoyed your lunch. Sorry our service wasn't up to expectations. Cruise Ship Days get very hectic.

Stopped in to Callahans for an evening beer. No complaints about the beer but the bartender was saying how she was closing early since it was a very busy day with three cruise ships in town. This made us feel very unwelcome there and we...More

Sorry about your service. The bartender you are referring to is no longer with us. Closing early is not our practise. During the early week we close at 10pm and on the weekend 2am.

We sought this place out on purpose based on advice from a local tour guide. It is a cool little place near the port and convenient for the cruise crowd. The beer on tap is Alpine and is local and very good beer. We had...More

Sorry about your service. On Cruise ship days, our little pub fills up with about 100 patrons in a 20 minute time frame. No matter how organized we try to be, 100 people all at one time is a challenge. We do our best...in your...More

We stopped while wandering around St. John after getting off our cruise shop. We loved it. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We had drinks and my wife had the seafood chowder which she loved. Really nice neighborhood place.

This great little neighborhood bar is located two blocks from the cruise ship terminal. On the tour, our guide was asked where to get a good Lobster Roll and without hesitation she recommended Callahan's. Our group of six stopped in on our way back to...More

It was a quick stop for us in here while we waited for our tour time. Drinks were very reasonable in price and really good, plus you have free wifi. Service was really good too. A good place to relax and drink

Great lobster roll for $11.00! Can't beat the price. Convenient if on a cruise ship. Real close. Friendly atmosphere for a pub.
