Fantastic sushi. Friendly waiters. I take their Lunch Special Box today, every thing taste amazing. And the miso soup is better than other Sushi restaurant ever. And their waiter make me feel so warm. Good place for lunch at Uptown.

I called for a take out order, and was told it would take 25 to 30 minutes . I thought thats was reasonable.....When i did arrive to pick it up it took another 30 minutes, an hour waiting. Then when I did arrived to my hotel, the chicken teriyaky had maybe 5 to 7 pieces of chicken.... the chicken yakisoba... More

I was travelling for work and decided to give this location a try. Their lunch menu didn't have much choices in sushi meals so I decided to pick a roll from the large roll category thinking it should be enough for my lunch. I chose the Atlantic roll for $15. I couldn't believe what came to my table, an above... More

In the past I would have given this restaurant a wonderful review on both food and service however, the the last two times I've been there the service has been beyond disappointing. We went as a group of five for lunch today. The waitress was not exactly friendly and she appeared to be rushing although there were only a few... More

Sense of Tokyo is my fave sushi spot in the Maritimes, not just SJ. I love the cozy atmosphere and attentive service. It can be slower during the dinner rush, but you shouldn't be in a hurry to leave here. The food is always well prepared and they offer a variety of non-sushi dishes to satisfy less adventurous palettes. They... More

I trust this place to make my sushi right! The service is always friendly though I do find it a little on the pricey side, though for saint john it's not too bad.

Out first time back in a while. The menu has expanded and I found it difficult to sort out. The waiter and waitress seemed to be unsure which one looked after us. The sushi was well presented and really fresh and there is a wall screen showing various dishes, waiter even had an I pad for show and tell. I... More

We had some really good sushi here. The waiter was unable to answer some simple questions we asked, but the food was really good. Except for the salad with the ginger dressing just did not taste right...

Only had lunch here but they are open for dinner with a similar menu. The ingredients are so fresh and eveything tastes great. I recommend a bento box so that you can try a few things but I am sure that whatever you get, you will like. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. They are closed on Monday... More

The sushi is always delicious! It's not a fancy place, but the food and service are both excellent! It's in uptown SJ so the location is good too.
