Had dinner here twice - the service was reasonably fast to be seated, take our orders and have the food served. The order was accurate, the food was hot and the taste was typical Swiss Chalet.

We used to eat at Swiss Chalet all the time as a family when I was young for something fancier but not priced fancy. Obviously things have changed. The service is always good but the quality of the ingredients used constantly goes decreases and as such, the food is not that great.

They have now straightened out a few problems they were having but they still do not have the professionalism of knowing how to fully cater to their customers. When you eat messy food, with your fingers, it would be nice if they gave you a finger bowl, when you ask for one. They used to but they now find it... More

Visited the location on stavanger drive and all I gotta say is YUCK. Everything was extremely over cooked. Husband order surf and Turf. Steak taste like shoe leather. He asked for medium rare and was given an overcooked piece of cow. I ordered chicken special and I couldn't eat it because it was soooo dry. Three kids left their plates... More

We fancied trying somewhere different to the small bistros and pubs/restaurants in St John's and this place really exceeded our plans. As soon as we arrived we were shown a booth and straight away our waitress Holly came over to serve us, what a fantastic customer service skills this lady possesses, need to fly her to the UK to teach... What can I say, it's Swiss Chalet. Very prompt and pleasant staff and the food is good. If you're in the mood for rotisserie chicken, it's as good as you're going to get anywhere.

Swiss Chalet has went from a chicken, fries and dipping sauce restaurant to one which serves roast beef, fancy salads, etc. No wonder the size of the chicken has got smaller and, you have to pay more for white meat! Service was slow to get someone's attention, then, wait for our table to be cleaned. Even the pecan pie has... More

I am never disappointed with the food or service at Swiss Chalet located at Stavanger Drive. It has everything for a 10 year old boy to a Mom and Dad with Heart Disease, high blood pressure, and IBS. I enjoy going there especially for the ribs and any of the chicken dishes.
