The food was tasty and the proportion size was good. Atmosphere was nice, cozy, bright. Service was excellent. We were there in November, but imagine during nice summer months it is a great place to stop in a beautiful area along the water. We had several servers plus another woman stop by to follow up on our service. Everyone had... More

Such a delightful place. Tried the zucchini panini and bluenose salad. Excellent combo. English sticky pudding for dessert. Stole a taste of hubby's sweet potato ginger soup. Amazing good. No reservation, put our name on the list and was only a short wait. Friendly service across the board. Second visit and definitely not the lastt

The hype over this place is amazing. Every tourist brochure you read or pamphlet you pick up has this restaurant in their recommended eats list. I can not for the life of me understand why. Perhaps we visited on an off day, or rather, an incredibly bad off day (!) The hostess was snotty and condescending and the food was... More

I have been waiting to try this restaurant for a while. The decor has a bit of whimsy. The staff are helpful and well-trained. The food is fabulous. Thankfully our hosts had made reservations for us well ahead of time because on both nights we ate there, they were full.

Hamburger Night - Chose the Beef Burger. The beef was good and cooked just right but left a very salty taste in the mouth. Perhaps it was the sauce or the way it was spiced, but the last couple of bites were very salty and unsavory. And the desserts, cheesecake and ice cream cake(my wife had this) were, in my... More

Everything we had from the salads, soups, sandwiches, seafood and desserts were excellent. Definitely worth the stop.

Back behind the gift store is a hidden gem of a restaurant. Make certain to make a reservation as there is seating for only 26. The food was very good and the atmosphere matched. I can highly recommend the zucchini appetizer. Beware, the portion sizes of entrees are large. I had the pork tenderloin with mushrooms, Rosti potato and vegetables.

This fine restaurant was recommended by our B and B hosts. They were certainly correct in directing us to this lovely spot. The seafood is extremely fresh and well prepared. Lots of wine choices to pair with whatever you choose to eat.

Chef Roland Glausser does an amazing job at turning out wonderful meals from a small kitchen. The menu seldom varies and I look forward to my annual trip to enjoy the special food. Warning, you must enter the restaurant by walking through a Gift Shop. This puts me off, but the food is worth it. There is a good wine... More
