The best Italian bread and the finest European pastries in Halifax. The sandwiches are so fresh and tasty, it reminded us of the bakeries in Germany. Will definitely go back the next time we're in the area.

Based on the reviews on TA and my personal preferences I tried three things for take out on my first visit. The rum ball had a nice contrast between the crunchy chocolate sprinkles and the smoother chocolate filling. I first thought it could be more...More

We've only stopped here for a couple of times, but the bread and sweet pastry (particularly horns) were delicious and fresh. I feel some items might be slightly overpriced, but that's the good price/quality ratio anyway.

Obviously, first a bakery, but it also has a number of tables at the front of the shop where you can enjoy a pastry, beverage, or soup/salad/sandwich for lunch. The eating area is bright, very clean, and well laid out. The Americano was strong, but...More

Good food. I like a lot. I didn't get sick or anything. Close to halifax because it's in halifax so it's pretty close to the city. Can't get much closer than that.
