It's nice and warm with inside Irish themed decor. Lots of people, old, young, bigger groups and a couple of families like ours. The waitress was nice, you could tell she enjoyed interacting with customers as part of her job. Food came out quickly and was tasty, no complaints. The kids chose from the kids menu and were given an... More

Had a great experience at this Pub. Myself and my husband had a day out walking around and exploring downtown Halifax. We saw great reviews on trip advisor so decided to pop in for dinner. I was introduced to a local dry cider, No Boats on Sunday, over lots of ice...delicious! My husband had a local craft beer. We had... More

Durty Nelly's was recommended to us as having the best seafood chowder in the city, we were so disappointed as it was so thick with cornstarch and no seafood(aybe 5 small pieces). Would never recommend or go back. So disappointing !!!!!

It was very quiet, major construction on Argyle St. right now but it is walking distance from convention centre. The service was great, our food came fast. I ordered the calamari to start with,it was a tad chewy but not... More

Never stopped for food . But the drinks were good and the wait staff were very friendly. The pub is beautiful inside nooks and crannies all over multi levels. Quaint just the same. Looking forward to visiting again.

Went there today with friends from out of town, arrived at 2:30. Literally 2/3rds of the facility was cordoned off with reservations for 3 and 4, most off which did not show up until well after that time. No flexibility whatsoever to accommodate us in the over supply of empty seats. We even approached a table almost finished to see... More

Checked it out prior to going to the neptune theatre next door. Feels like a real Irish pub. Standard looking public fare and my main wasn't bad but I highly recommend the potato bacon leek soup. I wish I could have mainlined it, it was sooooo good
