Good spot down town close to the ferry and a pleasant walk if you feel like it.I had a coupon ,of course,so it made the brunch affordable as well as tasty.I had the usual Irish Stew and the Mrs had the lamb burger. The spot wasn't packed but a good crowd.Service a tad slow ,took about 40 minutes to place order... So the old triangle Irish alehouse is an institution. Always a lot of fun, good food and beer. Lots of live music, basically a must see in Halifax! :-)

Lots of stairs to maneover about so if you have any... More

Went on Sunday evening with the family (all adults). It was somewhat difficult to find a table. Lots needed to be cleared. The service was great the food was even better. The live music was a nice touch but really loud for the setting.

I have visited Old Triangle restaurants in Charlottetown and Moncton, and this one does not quite measure up. Food was ok, as was service, but neither was memorable. A popular spot in downtown area.
