Popped in for a beer, and the music was awesome. Reminded me of Ireland. Good beer and great music…. Will come again when in Halifax again

The Old Triangle is one of my favourite places in downtown Halifax. The food is excellent, but the atmosphere is even better: there is frequently live, local music. A perfect place for a fun evening with friends.

Sat at the bar (solo), where I could enjoy the live music. Had drinks and dinner (seafood pasta, delicious), bought a lovely pub themed t-shirt.. unfortunately now that I've returned home I realize that even though it is a "large" the fit is too small...More

We stayed at the Four Points Sheraton and the Front Desk Agent suggested The Old Triangle -- what a great choice! Delicious corned beef sandwiches, beef stew, chicken wings and a fantastic beer selection! Service was fantastic as well!

We stumbled across this great Irish pub on our vacation. This place is friendly, and you'll make a friend. While I was there I made a friend from Louisiana. I'm definitely going back!

The Old Triangle is an Irish family owned traditional Irish pub established in 2000. We feature an extensive menu of hand crafted Irish & Maritime dishes, 22 taps of local and international brews and an excellent selection of wines, hand picked by our in house sommelier. We feature live music 7 nights a week, matinees on Saturday, Irish dancing and live sessions Sunday afternoons. Our upstairs Seanchai (pronounced shan-a-kee) has Quiz Night on Tuesdays and is also available for private events of up to 80 guests. We are proud to have the finest, friendliest staff in the city, a beautiful summer patio and a warm welcome for all who enter.
