Really nice selection of shortbread and we sampled all the flavours. Our favourite is the scotch but the maple was really good as well. Also sell fudge and preserves. Great little store!

Very friendly staff provided us with information on local sites to visit and delicious short bread to sustain us while driving through the countryside. Be sure to try the sticky toffee pudding if available.

This was a wonderful little place with a great assortment of shortbread. I picked several packages to share back home with my workmates. I was going to skip the Canadian maple but after trying a sample I added this to the mix. We did not have tea here but it looked inviting. I enjoyed our visit with Fiona M.

Just choose your favorite-they are all tasty! I read about her in the Taste of Nova Scotia book for 2016. Living shortbread as I do it was easy to find her in downtown Pictou. The shortbread is flaky, buttery just perfect in the basic recipe, but there are dozens of flavored to choose from. Great for gifts too.

We appreciated your comments. Mrs. MacGregor tries to bring many flavours to shortbread, but the favorite is always the traditional. Thanks so much stopping by. More

Excellent shortbread, just like Grandma used to make! Nice little shop with lots of flavors of shortbread. Bet you can't eat just one. The staff were very friendly

Decent little quaint, casual cafe. The scones were great and we were able to pick up some shortbread gifts to take home, so far I can recommend the 'skor' flavor!

This is a little gem - we wandered in for a cup of tea and had the most delicious shortbreads I have ever eaten. Not many folks in the place but we enjoyed chatting with the owner, sipping tea and having traditional Scottish shortbreads as well as the maple shortbreads.

The most amazing shortbread ever...lots of flavours, I could have been in there all day trying everyone... luckily we were only in Pictou a few days or I would have spent all our vacation cash just on this shortbread...

Went in specifically for the shortbread, pretty expensive and while it was good, it wasn't the best ever. There wasn't much of a selection of other products in the store. It was cute inside but I felt a little uncomfortable in there, the people behind the counter didn't greet us until I said Hello and then just stared at us.
