This place is kind of small and can get very crowded. But having said that the Fish and Chips were very good.I had the Halibut and my Wife had the Haddock and we shared but could not tell the difference.Portions are large and reasonably priced and staff are very nice. Will return

We were told that it's the best in the city, but we cannot confirm that, but we can say there is no better place west of it. We were looking for a new place after we were disappointed twice with our previous and the pub takeaway became too expensive. So go for the haddock, which was fresh and sweet, thinly... More

Like the title says. When it comes to fish and chips I stay loyal and this is by far the best fish and chips you will get in Hamilton I strongly suggest you try their fish and chips

I really enjoyed my haddock and chips with a side a coleslaw. I couldn't give this fish and chips a 5 out of 5 because the coleslaw didn't have much flavour... just cabbage and mayo I think. I also wish the tartar sauce was homemade. It is very reasonably priced though.

I have been here on every visit to Hamilton during the past 4 years. Harry's has great fish and chips. Generous proportions and fast friendly service. Prices are reasonable. You can't go wrong eating here.

Wanted to try a new place because we just haven't found any place with great fish and chips. Checked trip advisor and Harry's Fish and Chips had some great reviews and we were not disappointed!!! Best fish and chips we have had in years! We both ordered the haddock $8.95. Fabulous light and crispy batter, not greasy at all, large... More

I've meant to try this restaurant for a few years, and since I was in the area, I finally had a chance for some takeout. This restaurant offers both dine in and take out, which is very convenient. The front counter staff were very friendly and agreeable to my orders of lightly battered fish. The halibut came as ordered and... More

Saw a review on TV of Harry's Fish and Chips, so went to try them out while we were in Hamilton. Cheerfully greeted at the door at 11 a.m. when they open and were promptly waited on. Our meals arrived quickly and enjoyed by my husband and I. We had the haddock. Really good!

Hands down the best fish and chips in the city. Great portions, and the fish is neither soggy not encased in some hard shell of batter. A little pricey, but well worth it.

A group of six of us went on a Friday night about 6:00. We had to wait about 15 minutes to get seated as the place was busy. All but one of us ordered the Halibut and chips, the other guy got the Captain's platter with Haddock, clams and shrimp. My wife and her sister are both from Britain, and... More
