It was Saturday night on a holiday weekend. We drove around for awhile looking for a restaurant downtown and couldn’t even find a parking place. We drove back to the hotel and asked for help. We said we wanted good food, nothing fancy, quiet place...More

My partner and I were in Kingston visiting and Ben's was recommended as LGBT friendly. We stopped in on a Monday night at about 9:30. The place was empty, except for a few people. We ordered our drinks and waited. The young woman bartending brought...More

I've been here a few times and I've enjoyed it every time. I've only ordered food once and it was alright, nothing spectacular. I do enjoy the atmosphere though. It's quiet and low key so it's great if you're with friends just wanting to have...More

The staff here are very friendly and the live jams are fun to join if not always top quality music. The beer is average and I can't comment on the food as I've never eaten here. Ben's is a true community pub where you will...More

Ben's Pub has been around forever and I've only eaten there once. Once was enough. It was awful. The place was empty and the food was terrible.

This was not a good experience at all, greasy food, and the whole place seems dirty. I would not go back. All I got was a take out poutine which seems impossible to screw up.

OMG what an awful restaurant. Filthy conditions, poor service, terrible wine, food mediocre at best. First impressions were not good, but we were tired, hungry, and in the neighborhood so we thought we would give it a go. Should have moved on at first whiff!

We have been to this pub a couple of times but do not think we will go back. The food offered is quite mediocre, and the "decor" needs serious updating. There is a "carpet" on the floor that should have been removed decades ago. It...More
