Pan Chancho is located on Princess Street Kingston. It is related to Chez Piggy, a well-known Kingston restaurant. It has a smallish area for dining in, does catering and also sells a variety of deli items, desserts, bread, and other high-end grocery items. It is a popular place. I went there with family just after Christmas for breakfast, which is... More

We always go to the bakery for "must haves" but this is the first time we ate brunch here. Why did we wait? Dumb! We ate here on New Year's Eve for brunch. We went to the upper dining room. Very nice. My wife had the sweet potato hash. Big chunks of potato and really raspy. I had the meat... More

I always make a point of stopping by when in Kingston to pick up bread, prepared foods, etc. Have also had both breakfast & lunch there. Baked goods and take-out sandwiches this time.

A return to our favourite tea shop. It was lovely to see a familiar scene. Tea, coffee and cakes were lovely as was the company. Well worth a visit. It has a a broad menu which has to be tried.

I now live in Alberta, but stopped by Pan Chanchos for years. I ensure a visit home includes a stop here! Although expensive, every bite is made with the finest ingredients and is SO delicious. They also look fabulous. Cheeses, breads, desserts, oils, jams, an outdoor patio, an indoor cafe, the BEST customer service, beautifully restored building, I cannot say... More

I love this bakery and café in Kingston ! The freshly baked goods are delicious, along with the homemade pastries. I recommend the apple or plum flan tarte, the banana muffins, any of the cake slices and the butter tarts. They also have house-baked bread that look very appetizing as well! I did buy the smaller dinner size buns, but... More

My friend and I went to Pan Chancho's for breakfast today. As always it is perfection. I had the Weekender made with scrambled eggs and the most delicious cider Ketchup. Pan Chancho's is always good. After breakfast I brought cookies for my grandchildren and gluten free cookies for my son in law. They were also enjoyed :)

Great lunch spot, very busy. Excellent mix of ingredients in a sweet and salty beet salad, would have enjoyed the salad more with double the amount of beets. My dining companion enjoyed his black bean ranchero eggs. The desserts were excellent from the bakery. Eat in or make your own lunch picnic from a wide selection of bakery and gourmet... More

Established in 1994, the bright, fragrant, always busy, Pan Chanco Bakery turns out a large range of baguettes, loaves, muffins, scones, along with many other carb-olicious treats, a good number of which are gluten-free ... This very pleasant cafe always seems to do a brisk business during morning breakfast hours through lunch, with things you will truly enjoy such as... More
