We went to the Irish tea room for an afternoon tea and snack. The tea room is located at the back of a clothing store and is very small with limited seating. There were 6 of us and we had to wait for a table but the waitress was very efficient in getting us seated without a long wait. There... More

Tucked in at the back of the Irish Shop on Queen St. in Niagara-on-the-Lake, this little gem could easily be missed. A quaint little tea room where one can enjoy a pot tea with a scone, butter and jam, or carrot cake or hot soup! A place to sit down for a moment amidst endless possibilities for shopping. The food... More

The lunchroom in the Irish Linen store is a modest space, but the food is homemade and excellent. Quiches, salads, and Irish fare, and the best Empire cookies in town (moist and delicious). My sister and I always make a point of eating there during a visit to NOTL. After or before lunch, you can shop for beautiful Irish sweaters... More

This tea room is located at the back of the Irish Design store. It offers Irish based menu items like Quiche, chicken & leek pie, cottage pie and Guinness Steak Pie to name a few. The food is excellent and well worth a visit.

Go in and enjoy some Irish coffee while you still can. The Sheppard pie was wonderful, too bad we were in a rush and didn't have time for dessert.

This is one little place that you don't want to overlook although it is hidden in the back of a clothing shop. The tea room offers Irish pastries and savoury pies. Particularly excellent if you are looking for gluten-free or vegan dishes. I have heard the soups are excellent.

We didn't have a chance to eat there on this visit, as the restaurant was very crowded, and many people were waiting. So I bought a bag of scone mix, which I baked up just after we got home. Absolutely delicious! Texture was perfect, and they didn't have that artificial taste that so many packaged mixes have. I should have... More
