We had dinner and drinks at the Olde Angel recently. Food was very good, with large portions. Definitely good on a cold November night! Love all the old pictures and decor hanging throughout the pub. Lots of beers on tap, and a good sized menu to choose from.

Stopped for lunch specifically a bowl of soup. Smallest bowl of soup I ever saw for $7. Soup was good but amount was not adequate. Prices for other items seem pretty high

Finally a true British style pub. The Angel is the oldest in Ontario and unlike many so called pubs actually offers great British menu items and British beer along with many good Canadian beers. The atmosphere is real and we have been there to watch International rugby matches, soccer games and of course American football games. Because of the location... More

Had a great Sunday style pot roast dinner! Served English style, well done with loads of boiked vegetables and roasted potatoes! Large portions. Try to pecan pie or apple crumble for dessert.

Angel Inn was recommended by locals and they were right when they said it would be a great old world experience. Food was amazing and came out very quickly. Beer selection was nice and they carried several local craft beers too. The old Inn did not disappoint in showing its historical charm, from the wooden floors, wooden furnishing and lovely... More

The meatloaf sandwich and atmosphere always has me coming back! Oh and the fries are the best in the region! I often suggest this spot to people visiting the area (I work at a hotel) and they are never disappointed.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a Monday. It was very busy but the staff all coordinated with one another so no one was left standing at the door. We were seated quickly and our drink order taken and delivered within minutes. Lots of beers on tap. My husband had the meatloaf sandwich and I had a... More

I've been going here for years. Lunch, dinner, day drinking (lol), dessert...with friends...with family...and the food and beverages are just consistently great! Lots of beer choices, awesome fish and chips, Reuben sandwich, and of course the creme brûlée! This place gets busy on the weekend so beware! But it's worth the wait :) oh and the service is great too!
