My husband, sister and I decided to try out this restaurant after a matinée performance at the NAC. It was a very early supper so not too many others in the restaurant but the food was delicious, the service was excellent and attentive without hovering. The chef came by to see how we liked our meals - very classy! Great atmosphere - very modern yet inviting. We will be back!

Extremely pleased across the board . We had burger, lamb goulash ,squid and smoked salmon salad and small charcuterie board. All were excellent. Pricing is very good for Byward and inline with any nice restaurant in any city . Service was excellent ,friendly and correctly slow as to not rush you. Highly recommended

Dropped by on a quiet Sunday night. Service was prompt. Gluten free options available. The onion rings were large - could have come with more sauce. The gluten free potato and leek soup was good as well - a little small for the price. Cobb salads were good as well.

Avoid at all costs! One cannot deny that the decor is attrative. However, that is one of the few redeeming qualities. The food was absolutely tasteless. Everything from the disappointing beet arugula salad to the gnocchi was extremely disappointing and * tasteless*. Thank goodness they have exceptional waiters/waitress. We tried this place one, and trust me, never again!

this spot is perfect and the place is really beautiful!! i went there twice, was served by Radia and i love her service and i love her service every time i go there!! did my birthday dinner there and she was so nice and gave great service. i recommend this place!!

A lovely restaurant with good service and food. We came after a late cancellation with our original restaurant for that evening. Glad we did, it was enjoyable although we did get the wrong food order first but this was rectified quickly. We had a nice bottle of wine from niagara on the lake. They were very busy on the Saturday night but it wasn't too noisy even with a big party.

A first visit. Liked the layout and space between tables. Service was slow, despite it not being that busy. Food and portions were very good.

CHARLOTTETOWN TO OTTAWA VIA PORTER AIRLINES. ON BOARD MAGAZINE HAD AN INTERESTING ARTICLE ABOUT LAVENDER BISTRO SO CAME DIRECT FROM THE AIRPORT. WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED FROM THE MAGAZINE ARTICLE. MET OTTAWA FRIENDS AND ENJOYED A FANTASTIC DINNER AND DRINKS IN A BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED RESTAURANT. GREAT NEW SPRING/SUMMER MENU ; LOOKING FORWARD TO RETURNING TO TRY ANOTHER SELECTION FROM THE LIST.
