We stopped by for some drinks and some pool games after dinner on a Friday night. There are a variety of beers--also in the quart size.

I go to Dominion Tavern for the right priced beer (especially the "tall ones"), good service with a smile and the patio at the back. People there are relaxed and welcoming. Pool tables available (2 or 3 tables I believe). Bathroom downstairs It's no luxurious décor or furniture but you go there as you know what you'll expect. Not pretentious... More

I have been getting obscenely intoxicated in this lovely venue for almost twenty years now. I no longer live in the city, but I do try to be shambolic at least once a year. The chip shack next door has better food, but the toxic pickled eggs are always recommended.

They get their food from downstairs, I think a separate kitchen place or something. Not sure. Only ordered wings once. This is more of a place for interesting happenings (midnight till 2:30am) and inexpensive beer. Nice patio, often full past midnight. Lots of characters. Just don't judge. Anyone goes to the Dom, older folk, younger weirdos, hardcore punks, drunks, cute... More
