It was our first visit to Petit Bill's Bistro and we truly enjoyed it. Between the three of us, we had the cod cheeks, chowder, mussels in white wine, crudo, and fish and chips. All was delicious! Good selection of beers/wine. Service was great. Prices were what you'd expect. The people sitting at the next table said they were regulars... More

Had the steelhead trout table d'hôte and it was fantastic. I have never been disappointed with every meal that I have ordered. Service is superb and the food is always delicious. Thanks for another great meal!

First time here for me. Great attentive service. Had the chowder, which was as good as any I have had. It should be as the chef is from the East Coast. Had mussels and cod cheeks which were delicious. Nice atmosphere.

Petit Bill's had long been one our favorite spots but on off-night , mainly service wise, a while ago kept us away for a bit. We went back tonight with close friends and it felt like getting reacquainted with a long lost friend, remembering all the good things you like about them. I am happy to say that the service... We reserved the back room (seat 20+) for a business meeting. Instead of ten, only five showed up. No hassles from the management. The service was attentive without being pushy. Some had appetizers, others had dinner. All the food received a positive review from all the attendees. We will happily go there again.

This is a great gastropub. Friendly and personal service with a smile. No issues accommodating my allergy to a variety of vinegars and dressings. Food was delicious, prices reasonable, good wine selection (I'm allergic to that too, but my dinner guest is a wine-lover), and a warm and intimate atmosphere. A favourite to return to every time I visit the... More

Just returned from another enjoyable lunch at Petit Bill's. The high quality of the food and the service has been maintained. We don't visit often but we are always made welcome and we always have a good time.

A group of women friends gathered for dinner after the Famous 5 evening. All choices were available and fresh and delicious! My choice were the Moules frites....unbelievable, cooked in wine and garlic, I could have tipped the soup bowl to get every last drop, ...but held back in the name of manners! The recommended wine was perfect and reasonably priced.... More

Petit Bill's is a small gastropub in Ottawa's westend. Cozy but room enough with two sitting areas. Food is exceptional and service friendly and attentive. We were looking for something new and this was it. Offered fresh and varied menu with food arriving with nice presentation and wonderful taste. The kind of place I will definitly return to. A celebration brought us back to this wonderful restaurant. We were a little early and there wasn't a spot left to sit while we waited for our table. No worries the owner found a spot for us to stand and have a glass of wine. The appetizers and entrees were delicious. Eight people passing little bites around of their meal... More

Description
Petit Bill’s was borne from the family values and sense of everyday “down-home” hospitality our mom & dad showed to anyone who came their way. Our house was THE place where all our friends gathered, be it for Sunday night dinner, Christmas Eve or just a place to be comfortable and safe. As teenagers, the whole family flourished under the watchful eye and guidance from our parents and the acceptance our parents gave to our friends and visa versa.
Today, Petit Bill’s is a homage to this wonderful trait. We are proud to offer great comfort food, succulent steaks & fresh fish and truly homemade desserts. We use only the finest ingredients available and utilize as much local produce and products possible.
We have won numerous awards for our wine list with the crown jewel being the VQA Award of Excellence in 2009 for showcasing Ontario & VQA Wines on our lists. It is this type of commitment to local that will continue to on all of our menus.
We hope you will come by and see us again soon…to paraphase our folks…
“Welcome to Petit Bill’s & welcome home!”
