Unexpected stop here for quick lunch. Decision was hard to make sine many items looked great. Yorkshire beef plate was the choice and wow. Will come back for sure!

A brilliant pub with great food, I recommend fish and chips. A British style menu that does not let you down. Now servicing Carp Creamery Ice Cream which is also a great addition. The beer selection is brilliant.... Well done, keep it up.

Ate here with buds over the long weekend as we were visiting in the area. We all had the wood fire pizzas for lunch and local craft beer. Both very yummy. I can't wait to go back.

Visited twice on this trip. Both times were great. The fish and chips were incredible! You get one large thick piece of lightly battered fish served with home cut fries, a serving of awesome cole slaw with a lovely light tartar sauce on the side for $16. We added a second piece of fish for $4 and took it home... More

We went for dinner on the patio. Yummy Reuben and house club sandwich. We wanted half fries and half salad. Never an issue at the cat. This will be one of many visits this summer.

Stopped for lunch with my best friend. I hadn't been since they rebuilt due to fire. Lunch was absolutely fantastic. Shared the fish and elk, wild boar and mushroom tortiere. The chutney with the pie was superb. Can't wait to go back!

We met friends at "The Cat" for lunch this week just to catch up. This delightful little pub, located on Carp Road just South of Hwy 416, is easy to get to and a fun spot for friends. The place is clean, well run and the staff is very friendly. My wife and friends had flat bread plates and a... More

Seven of us celebrated a grandson's birthday on Thursday evening and the place was packed! Even so, the owner made the effort to visit our table and welcome us to the popular pub owned by him and his wife. It was the first visit for my lovely wife and I, but has been a favourite place for our son and... More

Well worth the wait! The food is amazing, the beer is amazing & the service top notch!! The only thing to avoid is the table under the stairs....the content thunk of people going up and down the stairs is annoying. I have ordered different things every time, and every single time the food has been great!!

Came here on a Saturday night with three buddies after some hiking / snow shoeing, so we were quite hungry. At 6:30pm the pub was quite packed and busy. There is a good draugh on tap selection which we enjoyed while waiting for a table. Ended up sitting upstairs. I had the chicken pot pie which was quite hearty. One... More
