Had dinner here in a group of six. Don't like to give poor reviews, but this was very disappointing. Service was slow throughout. Menu choices seem OK, but delivery was another matter. I ordered Wiener Schnitzel and Toulouse Sausage with Sauerkraut. Part way through my...More

This little gem just happens to be in my neighbourhood and is incredible! It's a quaint space with fantastic food and a wonderful wine list. Myself and 4 girlfriends dined there just before the holidays and ended up shutting the place down! We sampled an...More

The menu is varied, the service is excellent, friendly, informed and not rushed but efficient. The food is well presented and excellent ingredients are used. The menu changes regularly. Neighbourhood atmosphere. Nice surroundings, linen on the tables. Reasonable for the quality.

New owner, slightly different name (Avenue, not L'Avenue) same chef menu and staff. Menu is small (I thunk that is a good thing) with about 6 apps and 7 mains and 2 specials. Our food was interesting and tasty. I would return.

I used to live down the street and so this is a family fave. My mother still goes here even though she doesn't live nearby. I had the Tarte Flambee Gratinee which is a kind of flat bread pizza. Delicious. For a main I had...More
