Is the best indian food I ever had in a realy comfortable place close to Dundas Square! You can try some samosa for appetizers and butter chicken is the best in the world!

Our favourite Indian food spot. We used to get take out all the time. Now we have to wait and look forward to a special visit to the city. Hands down the best Butter Chicken, Palak Paneer, and Vegetable Pakora! Has a great variety of...More

We went to Matagali to try their Winterlicious menu. Things didn't start well when the server couldn't understand that she had given us the dinner menu, not the lunch menu. Her English was poor but she was friendly. I got the impression she was family...More

We had dinner here with our granddaughter. Two lamb dishes (rogan josh and massala) and chicken tandoori. Accompanied by nan and basmati rice. Small restaurant but welcoming.

The restaurant is a bare bones basement room that was not crowded at lunch. The food was credibly executed, but lacked imagination, so not particularly tasty. Portions are sufficient, and service is attentive, but the food is not really worth the trip.

I have been to this restaurant a number of times, and in each case the food has been excellent. The atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming, and the staff are attentive. It is not a large dining room, but I have never had an issue...More
