Holy cow, was our experience having breakfast at Pomanar bad. In Toronto for a weekend of fun, it seemed easy to eat a quick breakfast at the hotel restaurant, Pomanar. Menu seemed all right, prices were pretty decent. So we went in and sat down. Coffee came quickly (NO REFILLS, says the menu, and they mean it), and the order... More

Husband and I ate there before we went to explore, my breakfast sandwich was three layers of bread which was a bit over kill. We ordered there smoothies and were great!, I've worked in the restaurant industry for years, a couple things that instantly come to mind. 1.The location of the restaurant is horrible, tucked away from foot traffic. 2.... Though not disappointing, this could be an amazing little resto. Located in Bond Place hotel ( read captive customers) it's has potential to become a value resto. Service was slow but food was good. Good coffee! Limited on a raining day (20 or so inside seats) but a good size patio. Needs better management but starting on the right track.... More

My second time here for a business trip in September. Had the Mediterranean Breakfast. Even though the place was PACKED, with (literally) busloads of folks moving in and out before 8am, service was fast. No issues from me.

I stayed in bond place hotel for 3 nights. This cafe is right inside the hotel. The breakfast is a la carte and the choice was nice. I relished the smoothies and veggie omelette. Even the waffles were good- they did not have fresh strawberries though. The service was efficient and friendly.

We stayed at the bond place hotel with breakfast included. It was slow small portions and very salty. We ended up eating elsewhere. The service was very frustrating. We fought over our bill several times.

I stayed at the Bond hotel and paid a premium to have breakfast in there. The restaurant is in the lobby of the hotel. The staff were actually awful and rude. We were lining up waiting for our turn when a woman very aggressively pushed us out and told us to wait outside as she could not accommodate us. Eventually... More

Ordered A pepperoni Pizza twice while staying at the Bond Hotel, which this restaurant is located at and was very satisfied with both times I ordered. As of this review date, a large one topping pizza was $9.95 plus tax and I thought it was a good deal for what I got. Never dined inside so I'm unable to review... More

I would have to say that the breakfast special which consisted of scrambled eggs, 3 pieces of bacon, home fries and toast is not too bad ($6.99), they don't give you refills on ANY drinks including coffee (which is $2.21/cup), How ever DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT order the pancakes and fruit ($7.99) this pancake breakfast consists of... Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
