Love the food at this place! Everything from the pizza, hot table to the pastries. We keep going back for the wicked good. The service aspect needs work. The layout is too small for the amount of people who go in. You can see that they are trying to make it work but a lot of the employees (or family... More

Stopping in yesterday for some zeppole and other sweets. Very tasty and fresh. Found it a bit overpriced, but for the quality can't complain.

I love this place and it never let's me down. Since I first went here many years ago it's top notch food, pastries and coffee and this hasn't changed one bit. The only difference now is that it's bigger and has even more selection. Staff are still great, service is fast and prices excellent. You must go here if you're... More

The arrancini is amazing! The chicken cutlets are amazing! Everything is so yum! Customer service would be a 2.5/5. The lady cleared our order from the screen and said she already gave it out. We had been standing there the whole time and our order wasn't called. Other than that, great spot. I would go back!

Bought pizza (can't remember the name but had lots of fresh ingredients on it) and lemon meringues for take out lunch. Delicious! This place is always very busy and the menu of food and dessert (including gelato) offers a lot of variety.

This is an all around great place to stop by for lunch or pick up some baked goods, pasta, pizza or even just some gelato. Very busy all the time so be prepared to stand in line. Family run and great atmosphere. The best Italian desserts and delicious Italian sandwiches and pasta. If your on the 401 eastbound, get off... More

Very nice place, good food and coffee, plus super affordable! If you're a potato AND pizza lover like myself, try the patate pizza. You will not be disappointed.

The Good Great variety of food for those days when you do not feel like cooking. Nice place for lunch if you work/live nearby. Desserts are excellent. Don't feel like Timmy's or Starbucks then go for a quick espresso (not expresso) and a biscotti. Prices are reasonable for what you get. The Bad Service is quick but you do not... More

The place is really busy and a bit chaotic, but the bechamel pizza is fantastic. If you're in the area, it's well worth a trip.

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
